BGC Electric
BGC’s Electrical Division has more than doubled in size over the past two years as its reputation for reliability and quality continues to spread. Headed by Electric Division Contracts Manager Wayne Burnett, the team comprises a large number of fully-qualified electricians. They work on contracts such as kitchen and bathroom installations and adaptations for people with disabilities, along with the re-wiring of homes and installation of electric storage heaters.
BGC Electrical is also developing a state-of-the-art range of wireless home security systems. Great emphasis is put on ongoing training and assessment of the electricians to ensure they are always fully knowledgeable of the latest wiring regulations.
The team is regulated by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), the industry’s independent regulatory body which protects consumers from unsafe and unsound electrical work.
To retain their coveted NICEIC status, contractors have to be assessed every year in order to ensure their work meets the national safety standard BS 7671 and other relevant technical standards. Wayne, a NICEIC qualified supervisor and assessor, said: “Our customers can have complete confidence in our excellent team of electricians. As our reputation for safe, reliable and quality work has spread our business has grown and we expect continued expansion.”
